Where is your coffee sourced from?

We source our coffee from the best coffee growing regions globally. Take a look at our product pages to find out exactly where each coffee was from as well as other information about the coffee.

How fresh is your coffee?

We roast all our coffee as frequently as possible to maximise the freshness and make sure it arrives to you in peak condition, ready to drink. Roast dates are on the card for each order.

Which product is best for me?

If you are not sure which coffee is best for you, take a look at our product pages and that should help, if you are still not sure please email me at hello@countercoffee.uk and we will happily guide you in the right direction.

Which roast level do I need?

This depends on your personal taste preferences as well as how you brew your coffee. Typically espresso coffee drinks are a darker roast with filter a medium roast. If you like your coffee ‘strong’ and bold or are adding lots of milk then a darker roast is normally best. Darker roasts have more toasted, smoky, intense flavour and medium roasts are more balanced and better showcase the flavours within the coffee. This all varies from coffee to coffee as well as within roast profile so the best bet is to try a few out and see what works best for you.

How long is the shelf life?

Our coffee is best used within four to six weeks of purchase (though is fine to consume for up to a year). Once the bag is opened, it’s best to drink the coffee within a few weeks to prevent the oxygen from staling the coffee.

How should I store my coffee?

Once you have opened your coffee we recommend storing it in an airtight container in a cool, dark place to preserve its freshness and protect it from moisture, light, and odors. Or store it in the original bag with the air removed and have it sealed tightly.

Do you offer subscriptions?

Yes we do, we offer a 15% discount for all subscribers and you can cancel at anytime.

How do I apply a discount?

You just need to enter the code during the checkout process when you get to the payment step. 

Just make sure you can see that the discount has been applied before completing your order as we’re unable to retrospectively apply discount codes

Gifting

Yes we offer gifting, place your order and send us an email with your instructions and the order number and we'll do our best to accommodate this.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept payment online by Visa, MasterCard, Amex, Maestro, Googlepay, Applepay and Amazonpay.

Do you offer wholesale?

Yes, we do. Please reach out to us at hello@countercoffee.uk and we’ll organise a price list for you.

Shipping

Which carrier do you use?

We use Royal Mail. Our default delivery option is 48hr tracked and we have a 24hr tracked option available as an upgrade. Please note that 48hr tracked can take up to four working days to arrive and 24hr tracked can take up to three working days to arrive, though it is usually a lot faster.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently only ship to the UK, though please email us at hello@countercoffee.uk if you want to receive an international shipment and we can request quote for you.

How can I track my parcel?

Once you complete your purchase the tracking information will be sent to you.

When will my parcel be delivered?

Please check the tracking information for the best available idea of when your order will arrive.

What happens if I am not at home to receive my delivery?

You will receive a missed delivery card through the letterbox instructing you to collect it from your local post office or depot. If you do not collect your parcel in 30 days, it will be sent back to us where we will contact you for redelivery.

Returns and Refunds

What is your return policy?

We allow returns for any unopened, undamaged product for up to 30 days. Before returning any items to us please contact us at hello@countercoffee.uk and we will organise a plan for you. As a small business we cannot pay for the return shipping of your order unless there is a fault with your order.

Can I get refund?

Yes you can, if you are not happy with your coffee we can refund you or arrange a suitable alternative. Please email us at hello@countercoffee.uk as we would like to find out what the issue is so we can make improvements going forward.

How long will my refund take?

Once processed your refund should be back with you within 10 working days - but please note we’re not able to process a refund until we’ve received the item/s back to our HQ

I ordered the wrong product, can I swap?

If the product has just arrived and is unopened please email us and we’ll do our best to make sure you are happy  - hello@countercoffee.uk
