Excellent new coffee!

My husband loves his coffee and we decided to try a new brand - this didn't disappoint. Great taste, like the information about strength of coffee and better value than other brands we have tried. We'll definitely be back for more!

Very Pleasant, Maybe A Little Weak

I've used/tasted the Signature Smooth Columbian beans and they are definitely smooth with little acidity. I usually drink quite rich dark roasts and go for the high caffeine beans but I do like the flavour to be smooth and chocolatey rather than burnt and acidic.

The beans grind as expected and fill the kitchen with that lovely fresh coffee fragrance. I make my coffee in a cafetierre because I like control of strength and a couple of large mugs-full. I made it up using two heaped desertspoons of coffee but I found it too weak in flavour. The next time I used three heaped desertspoons and the flavour was richer and deeper but without bitterness.

I enjoyed the coffee but as I'm using a third more than usual, this works out a third more expensive than my usual coffee beans.

Riding the Flow
Roast date would be nice to have

As coffee taste goes, nothing to complain of, very nice balanced taste (used with Aeropress/pour over).

However, at this price segment its pretty customary to not only have good until date on package, but also the *roast date*. Since its pretty subjective for everyone how long coffee supposed to be good until since its roasted. E.g. for same price and taste I will always pick brand which does provide roast date before one which does not.
